dial in PPP server

Not that I want to be an ISP but, can anyone point me to "how do I "

setup a Linux machine that is actively 

connected ( nic to T1 line ) to the Internet

and dial-up ( external US robotics modem, serial port 1 )

that machine and get on. Just like an ISP.

I've got it configured to answer the modem when it rings

but, nothing happens after that.

I am guessing that my PPP is not setup correctly.

I may need to do something with my IP assignments.

Any help pushing me in the right direction of a web page, book, something

would be much appreciated.

An exact procedure on how to accomplish this will have my 

gratitude and I'm willing to bribe with candy, donuts, snacks, or pizza ?
