my linux box =(

well ive been asking other places other than the group and last night i 
think i came to the conclusion that its probably the disc somehow. it may 
still be the drive. when i boot the computer, and when the linux kernel 
spits out all that info on startup, i see my cdrom written there in the 
write location right down to the model number. if someone has another cd i 
could try for redhat 6.2 or something, id greatly appreciate it. i just wish 
i knew what it was that was wrong hehe (i neeeed linux) thanks for all the 
help so far.
