Sean,
I did the dmsg command, and I see eth0 and eth1. I am concerned, because =
I didn't load the modules that came with the driver disk. I followed the =
directions on how to copy and compile them, but those directions were =
for turbolinux and they didn't compile (no tulip.o).
Anyway, I used the network config thingy (I don't know the name yet) =
and selected a card that used the tulip driver. There were 2 cards =
listed, one said "old tulip", so I chose the one that used the "tulip". =
I hope this works. I'd be a little bent if the NICS I bought didn't work =
because it said linux on the packaging. If the driver doesn't work, then =
I will probably have to figure out how to get the syslink modules to =
compile. I feel lost. =20
I think I am going to hook up my cable modem Friday night, and see if I =
can connect. If that works, then I'll move on to sharing the connection =
with this windows machine.=20
Thanks,
Don
