I have checked my Win98 settings, and they appear to be ok. In my win98 box, I am using the NIC that @home provided with the cable modem. I wonder if that is the problem. I am tempted to put a different NIC in the win98 machine to see if that is the problem. Do I have to have IPchains up and running for my network to work? How to I tell if it is running? Don
