your nic on your win98 wont matter _if_ @home isnt locking onto your MAC
address, maybe someoen else knows if this does happen. 

You are running eth1 -> hub -> win98 box or using a crossover cable arent
you?

you can get a list of what ipchains rules you have in place with 
"ipchains --list"

It should have some rules it lists.

The ipchains commands you need to run, i believe Ben posted in a previous
email.
