Well, thanks to all of you, it finally works! I did
the ipchaining after I got my win98box correctly
configured, and I can get to the net with my win98box.
I am so geeked! I'm not a geek though.. :P

The major problem was the cable.
The secondary problem was the Win98 TCP/IP setup.
Apparently, win98 would not let me setup TCP/IP after
I installed the NIC. Weird! I removed all the networking
devices, and started from scratch. I had to install the
protocal BEFORE I could install the NIC. I found this out
by accident. While messing with the network settings for
win98, my machine crashed. I left it alone, and played
around on this computer. I was playing around pingin local
aliases, and I tried to ping the win98box, and it worked.
I rebooted the crashed machine, and then pinging it would not work.

I can send email through pilot, but @home is not working. It just might
be @home's server (its down a lot it seems). I am going to look at Ben's
scripts to see if I can automate IPchains at startup. Thank you all very
much! My next project is getting my printer to work. Are those sigh's I
hear in the background? :)

Thanks again!
