Well, MSU has (IIRC) two 155mbit/s connections, one to Umich and
one to Chicago. That's 310mbit/s of internet access, which is
equivalent to 206.7 T1 lines, or 5535.7 56k lines.
For most purposes, the Umich mirror site (ftp.eecs.umich.edu) is
as good as local, as the slowest link between my desktop and it is
100mbit/s... ;)
