OK, I hit delete, then decided I wanted to reply to Ben's message.. =P

Ben said: "My editor can beat up Ed." (or something to that effect)

I was about to say, "Ooo, I'm scared!" in my best mocking tone. But then
I realized something: It could actually happen! Here's how:

Ben uses Emacs. Emacs is very versitile and can be extended by
writing programs in elisp. Such an extension would, in essence,
become part of Emacs. Therefore, Ben could write a program in
elisp (using Emacs of course) along the lines of "beatedup.el".
This program would do the following:

1. Break into the computer of a robotics manufacturer.

2. Have them ship (with orders to unpack and setup) a robot to the
location of Ben's computer. Note that this robot should have one
or more of the following: Treads*, hover capability, lasers, gatling
gun, missiles, baseball bat*, pepper spray, wireless communications
device*, laughing gas, nerve gas, cloaking device, warp engines,
garlic and wooden stakes (in case Ed is actually a vampire), or
BFG 9000. (* indicates preferred options for this mission)

3. Remotely control (via encrypted wireless methods) robot in mission
to find Ed and "beat Ed up."

4. Laugh manaically

The end result of this would be exactly what Ben said:

"My editor can beat up Ed."
