I tried this bootptab file and watched for the tabs. No success.
I also added a
route add -net 192.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev eth1
I still couldn't ping the printer.
I printed out the configuration page but it doesn;t say much. It doesn;t tell
me the default IP. All places where it says IP address, subnet mask, gateway,
bootp/dhcp server config file are empty. Hostname is NPI053740. And it says
'TCP/IP status....Initializing Bootp/dhcp in progress'. But I guess it can't
configure it.
what is there left to try? I am most confused that the configuration page
doesn't tell me the default IP.
