bad news for cable modems in Lansing

Personally, I cannot believe that BWL does not already have their own fiber
running down every street of this city! We have an incredible resource in
the BWL, I think it is simply poor foresight on the part of the City that
the Board has not become a more diversified entity.

Cities across the country are rapidly deploying their municipal fiber
initiatives. After days of ponder I cannot understand why the City of
Lansing has such disinterest in providing what could be a very modernizing
and revitalizing public project.
