[GENERAL] GT.M database open sourced (fwd)

Does the GNU License let you do that?
I mean supposing i take the x86 linux and port it to linuxppc, will it not
be covered under the GNU license any longer?
Or even if i take the source and recompile it on AIX does this mean my
license gets revoked?
