one step in the right direction for Pilot...

I think this was discussed once on the list before, But I'll try to
summarize what was said then.  SSH is currently enabled on the pilot
machines for the pilot admins to use.  It currently does not allow general
user login to the pilot system.  What I have heard indicates that there is
somewhat of a problem getting the ssh server to talk to the kerberos
authentication system that pilot uses. ( Don't ask me what the exact problem
is... I don't know, and I don't know enough about kerberos to give you
decent answers.  Not to mention that all this information is second to
fourth hand.)

Hope this clears up some of the questions about pilot and ssh.
