Internet sharing with linux and win98 machines

You can run a dhcp client on the Linux box and then run an internal network
which would provide your Win machine with an IP address and net access. I am
sure you could run a DHCP server for the internal use but I don't think you
would want to.

You can just run the simple masquerading setup. You should read the
masquerading how-to:

It would kind of look like this:

ATT<--->dynamic IP<---->Linux box<---->internal network thru masq

You get the dynamic IP through a dhcp client in Linux. You also masquerade any
data for your internal network on the Linux box.
