LinuxPPC, or MkLinux install

Installing linuxppc on the 7200 is rather tricky. I have done it before
though so it isnt impossible. It has been like 4 years but..

Basically it sounds like it it is choking on the Open Firmware settings.
First you should be using BootX and you need to uncheck the video driver
option. Second you may need a patch for OF, platinum or video, I don't
recall which.

You may also have to add a boot parameter into the bootx box for video, it
seems like you need to add something, but I dont recall offhand what it
was or was for.

The LinuxPPC install manual _used_ to have the relevent information in it.
It was available from Linuxppc.org.

I can ask someone I just helped install linux on the box, exactly what he
did, if that doesnt solve your problem.
