the name of the thing is 'Schulrechner SR1' (school calculator SR1)
It's got all the necessities and none of the fancies. y^x, x^2,
1/x, sq rt, eex, pi, sin, cos, tan and the arcs of those, %, ln,
lg, and temp storage as well as deg, rad and grd lever at top

Commies or Socialists? Schulrechner doesn't sound like Russian, but
more like German to me. (I remember Tascherechner is "Pocket
Calculator" from my high school German class)

Just curious,
