But you are 100% correct on this one and I should not have been this sloppy. I
am surprised I got caught. There is a difference between Communism and
Socialism. Communism is the ideological theory of Marx which never to this day
has been accomplished. The Eastern block, including the CCCP, were Socialist
countries as are Cuba and China.

And yes it was German and a German product made in Thueringia by VEB (People's
Owned Factory) Microelektronik. I couldn't find a picture of it online. The
only thing I got was a list of calculators approved by the University of
Sheffield and the SR1 is on it. =) Who would have thought....
