I can't remember as far back as win95,
but I know that on win98/ME, windows
	defaults to encrypted passwd's, so
most samba users usually have to
	enable plain text passwords, instead
	of vice versa.

Although, for some reason, I vaguely
remember win95 being backwards, and why
anyone is still running that crap is beyond
	me.

	Anyways try this :
	[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]/System/CurentControlSet/Services/VxD/Vnetsup

^- Key that you would want to modify.
Of course this was ripped from my WindowsME
	box, where I inserted :
	EnablePlainTextPassword (value=1)

	I'd try inserting -^ with a value of 0,
if this is really your problem.

More than likely you're just not logging
into the windows machine or running your
	services correctly. Samba is really
	picky about itself, it seems.
