Linux costs more than Windows

I don't even need a laptop. I just feel like I have to have one. You know the
feeling. =) It's amazing how my 3 year old box with 300 mhz k6-2 and 256 ram
serves me well. I love it. I bet it would do another 3 years without trouble.
I had to replace the cpu fan last night. Reminded me of the /. article about
what health dangers house in a box. Besides the fan replacement was a chore. I
had to actually take it enitrely apart because the fan was behind the power
supply. After that mess I have to say having a full tower pays.
