Portsentry

I just installed Portsentry (http://www.psionic.com/abacus/portsentry) on
my Mandrake-SNF system.  Within the first couple hours of running, it's
identified 20 different machines, mostly *.fr, trying to connect to closed
ports on my firewall.  That's unnerving since before I was only seeing
attempts to connect to ports that were filtered by ipchains, to the tune of
3-4 a day.  If this pace keeps up, I'll have half of France blocked by the
end of the week.  I guess having a .home.com address makes me a target now.
