My thanks to everyone who sent proofreading suggestions.
However, I think the letter, perfect or not, will be understood
by whoever reads it.

My main purpose in sending this letter to the list was to
encourage people to send their own letters on the same or related
topics.  Feel free to borrow from my wording if you like.

(Also donate to the Red Cross.  I sent them a $100 check last
week and I'm just a poor lowly student.)
