That maybe true, but Cendyne's DVD-RW's are Pioneer mechanisms, and aren't 
their cd-rw's plextor mechanisms? 

Buslink sometimes has plextor and sometimes not, depending although I 
think they switched all over to AOpen whose drives suck, but for a while 
you could get the plextor drives in a Buslink package. 

The fun of OEM and they are pretty hard to track down too.
