> I got LPI certified. I liked it as a cert, there is some meat to it. Some parts were actually harder than I expected. The good thing about LPI is that it is less expensive and less vendor-specific. The down side is that there is no hands-on, so its possible that there are more "paper certs" out there. I've also done some work on the question pool for the new LPIC-1 tests (as a volunteer and paid contractor) and can say that they are pretty good. I encourage everyone to participate in the test development cycle to make it as good as it can be. www.lpi.org
