Wine doesn't work because (I could be wrong here) it converts x86 dll 
calls to linux instructions.  Its the same reason MOL won't work on an 
x86 box.

RealPC has announced that they are going to be shipping a PC emulator 
that has native video card support (could be Vaporware, who knows).  If 
its emulation instruction set is as fast as Virtual PC and it natively 
supports the video card rather than emulating it using the the 
processor and RAM, it should be able to handle Counter-Strike....I 
can't really think of any other good games that are PC only.
