Linux is so darned easy to run (as long as you stay away from Red Hat if 
you ever want to update outside of an official release), what's to talk 
about anymore? Gentoo even makes the hardest of the hard configuration 
that I know of, getting Linux to watch Quicktime and other 
non-Linux-native encoded movies, as easy as adding a couple of USE vars 
and emerging mplayer or xine. (At least at the time I started it was 
hard; I don't know if it's gotten easier because it's working for me and 
I don't care. ;-) )

Now if only someone would straighten out BIND... been through the HOWTO 
three or four times now and I still only marginally understand it...
