[GLLUG] Redhat, Apache & LDAP question

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend an LDAP module for Apache 1.3.x
on Redhat 9?  I want to do basic authentication with LDAP.
There seem to be several modules for the 1.3.x httpd.  
- LDAP auth module for Apache (by Muquit)
- mod_auth_ldap
- mod_ldap
- mod_LDAPauth

Starting with version 2.0.41 httpd comes with mod_auth_ldap, however
the status is experimental and it's not the same as the 1.3.x module of
the same name.
