well, being relatively new to fluxbox (about 3 days), my previous wm was 
blackbox for the past 4 years, its close enough for the advice to be 
valid.  tho i've never run BB with gnome, the utility bbrb works well 
with both BB and fluxbox for settings/adjusting wallpaper.  for the 
screensaver, i have always had to run xscreensaver manually to get that 
running.  as far as the mouse settings, what are you looking for?  
speed/acceleration, or some good mousewheel action?
