Greets,

I apologize for the length of this message.

I've been trying to install KOffice:
==========

mollie:~# apt-get install koffice --dry-run
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  koffice: Depends: karbon but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kchart but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kformula but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kivio but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: koshell but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kpresenter but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kspread but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kugar but it is not going to be installed
           Depends: kword but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

==========
So I did a:

mollie:~# apt-get install kword --dry-run
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  kword: Depends: koffice-libs (>= 1:1.3.0-0) but it is not going to be
installed
         Depends: libqt3c102-mt (>= 3:3.2.3) but it is not going to be

==========
And then a:

mollie:~# apt-get install libqt3c102-mt --dry-run

The following NEW packages will be installed:

0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 156 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Remv kdeutils (4:3.2.0-0woody1 Official build of KDE for Debian
stable:download.kde.org)
===[snipped a bazillion of those Remv lines here for your sanity]
Inst libqt3c102-mt (3:3.2.3-2 Debian:testing)
Conf libqt3c102-mt (3:3.2.3-2 Debian:testing)

I notice that Koffice depends: libqt3c102-mt (>= 3:3.2.3) but it's trying to
install 3.2.3-2. Is this my problem? What should I do to solve?

Thanks! Don't want to have to use the other Word. Again, sorry for length.

Brian
