while not directly related to the operating system itself, I thought that
perhaps posting here would inspire a response as to how to correctly
configure star office server. I have attempted to obtain a copy of Star
Office and Open Office with a greater version number that I currently
possess, but to no avail. I have not figured out how to configure Star
Schedule. I cannot seem to locate documentation relating to the windows
version of the software. I have no idea what if any, userid is setup. I was
happy to find that I had an http server that worked however, and so long as
my computer is on (it usually is) you can take a look at the login page.

I also have separate issues with DynDNS and other dynamic dns services as I
cannot seem to get the 3rd party updater to correctly work with them. See
Star Schedule Server 5.1's login at:

akiradawn.us.to

and theoretically at the following urls:
server.akiradawn.com,
akiradawn.dyndns.org

I have tried to make sense of the documentation from the various
universities that offer it on thier sun systems....I have created a few
accounts at sun.com as a student to download the latest version of
staroffice for free....I keep ending up at the wrong url.
Don't get your free email at hotmail.com
Use Open Source Software. http://www.gllug.org is much better.
