I was thinking along the same lines. The closest category for the audience would be small/home office and fund accounting. ROI is important as well as the initial cost. There are a few Christian related open source projects like InfoCentral and SWORD that I'll include.

The only sticky topic I've run into in the past has been the support issue. Most of them get their support from members and they are Windows centric. I thought I'd make a list of commercial vs. open source applications for Windows (OO, GIMP, etc.) as an answer to "We're not ready for Linux". 

I'll look for those case studies.
