Greetings fellow LUG members. If you didn't attend the meeting, here's

Object Oriented Interface Design by Clay Dowling

Clay gave a great overview and several in-depth examples of his
libtemplate, an HTML templating system that allows one to completely
separate web page content and the code which drives it. libtemplate can
be used in C, C++, and PHP. For more information, see:

General Banter

There was talk of Borland's line of products including Pascal and the
C++ Compiler. Additionally, the following were talked about in some
form:

- wxWidgets
- KDevelop
- Wireless network risks
- The robustness of web and DNS servers

- Databases
- Potential presentation: Syncing a Palm PDA with Linux apps
- Terminal servers
- Gentoo, FreeBSD, Fedora software upgrade pros/cons
