libtemplate is an HTML templating system. If you aren't familiar with
templating systems, they allow you to separate your application logic from
your interface. libtemplate allows for 100% separation, with the
templates usable by any programming language that libtemplate has been
ported to (currently PHP, C++, C and Delphi) without modification.

There was a review of programming principles used to put libtemplate into
use, with live examples in C. The discussion also drifted into the
specifics of writing CGI programs in C with libtemplate.
