Agenda: R Programming by Scott Harrison

Do you want to have many options available for how you transform,
visualize, summarize, and mine data? An interesting toolbox, and one
that rivals proprietary closed-source solutions, is the R statistics
project (http://www.r-project.org/). In addition to showing how "R"
provides you with real chops for direct number-crunching, I will be
discussing how R can work with various software and hardware
architectures, its internals, observations about the "R" community, and
its current strengths and weaknesses as an application. Anyways, if you
R curious about becoming a useR, leaRning how to stRt wRiting another
weiRd-Rs syntax, or just want to get an update on a populR open souRce
solution, there should be good info for everyone.
