I've no experience with either of them, but Xandros and Linspire are 
supposedly designed for just this purpose.  Linspire isn't free of cost, 
but there's a free version of Xandros (3 OCE) that is free and the 
limitations don't seem at all harsh to me.  distrowatch.com can point 
you to them.
