I started running Breezey Badger on my laptop, just after it came out.
Even got wireless working without any real hassle.
(I was using Gentoo and Madwifi on an older laptop a few years ago..
back before I found uberlord's howto. what a pain!)
I'd say go for it. (your mileage my vary of course) :-P
