[GLLUG] Breezy Badger

This doesn't answer your question, but I thought I'd offer my experience. I just switched from SUSE with KDE to Ubuntu with Gnome, and am quite impressed. Specifically, it is noticably faster. The interface is a little differnt, some for the better and some for the worse, but if you haven't looked at Gnome in a while, it's worth a try. My only big complaint, is that I don't like Totem, not that Xine was perfect either.

Has anyone tried Kubuntu (Ubuntu with KDE)? I've been following the discussions of Ubuntu with interest but am used to KDE rather than Gnome. I may have to come to a meeting to see Ubuntu running.
