mine are 8.14 and I have a 2.14 kernel. I looked at that walkthrough on
gentoo's wiki. one the entire kernel section need's a re-write he has 50
kernel module's that don't need to be compiled in. and I mean in areas that
couldn't affect my current issue like hard drives. 2 I've done all that
other stuff with X. fglrx isn't finding any hardware. although I see
something on a thread on gentoo's forums that might explain this I'm about
to check it out. does anyone have a knoppix cd they can bring tomorrow night
if I haven't got it working yet? I haven't bothered to get my cd burner
working in linux on my desktop. I don't use it enough to warrant the time.
specially not tonight.
