A program I'm compiling (Gentoo) requires NPTL support. I've switched NPTL on in the options, but it still won't compile. Does NPTL require a kernel module, then a recompile of glibc, before I can compile my program? Please let me know if I'm missing anything here. I don't want to go through the hassle of a new kernel if I can avoid it. -Patrick
