xorgconfig will run you through command line configuration and unlike
charles says ATI is easy depending on your chipset... ati-config or
fglrx-config depending on your version of the drivers will also run CLI
configs for xorg.conf if your going to run the proprietary drivers. the
output of lspci will tell you which card you have running.
