[GLLUG] MySQL phpMyAdmin login problems

I'm using the usernames and passwords that I use to logon to mysql on the
command line but they won't authenticate. any Idea's why?

I've tried looking at the phpmyadmin site but it's docs section isn't
working properly. I'm looking at mysql page... but... to see if I can find
anything that helps... nothing so far. I know this has to be something
stupid that I'm overlooking.
