I think this does exactly the types of things you're looking for.  I 
haven't used this myself though.  It apparently sends data to a central 
server to be encrypted which isn't very good.  Maybe someone needs to 
write a GPG encryption and decryption algorithm in javascript so it can 
be done fully on the client side.
