1) I've played with qbrew a long time ago, and it might be time to give it 
another try. I remember it not working that great, but it seems reasonably 
robust now.
2) If you start a homebrew mailing list, I know of some people who would 
join. Myself, probably my boss, my buddy who I brew with - he's a 
biochemest, so it wouldn't hurt to have him for people to throw yeast 
questions at :)
3) We use Pacman on our last stout. It turned out good, but it churned out 
so much alcohol that it killed itself, so we didn't have any yeast left for 
bottle conditioning! The only complaint I have about it is that the beer 
wasn't carbonated at all. :)
