[GLLUG] desktop freezing??

By design, ALL modern rounded cables are crap.  With ATA-66, there was a
shift to an 80 wire, 40 pin design.  The extra 40 wires are ground lines
to minimize cross-talk.  The rounded cables undo that feature and create
interference.
