[GLLUG] iPhone Competition?

I just saw this new phone on Slashdot and it looks pretty good.  Anyone 
both interested in a new phone and wanting to run custom applications 
should probably take a look.

I'm new to dealing with GSM myself, but was already planning on making 
the network switch.  Does anyone know how most carriers handle data 
access billing?  I would be a light volume user when it comes to data, 
but I still need to find a carrier that would support it.
