[GLLUG] Somewhere in hell, there is a snowball refusing to melt.

They seem to see "Open Source" as a "Development model":

Then they claim that developers have created so many (79,000) OSS
applications with the MS platform:
http://www.microsoft.com/opensource/faq.mspx# -- second question
This is misleading in a couple ways: 1. MS didn't do anything to help
that development, they just happened to be there and the app runs in
Windows. 2. If it uses MS products to build or it runs on Windows, and
it does the same type of thing that MS software does, it is probably not
really OSS because the EULA (IIRC) makes that type of software illegal.

That snowball isn't refusing to melt, it's not really a snowball. It's
Microsoft Snow. It kinda looks like snow from afar but it's not really
useful. And it's sole purpose is to make it look like MS did something
novel. If you open it up (which is a violation of the MS-Snow EULA,
btw), you'll see it's styrofoam with a shiny cover.
