So you must also think that walking into an elevator at the same time 
people are trying to get out is okay?  It isn't.  That's rude behavior.

Another example:  It is inappropriate to use a cell phone in public or 
while driving.  The former is rude behavior.  The latter is simply 
dangerous.

Just because you aren't aware of proper etiquette doesn't excuse you, 
me, nor anyone else from it.  And just because no one is watching (i.e. 
your so-called "Internet police") doesn't give you license to do 
whatever you want.  The whole "as long as no one catches you" societal 
mentality is what causes Enron and other scandals to happen in the first 
place.  The society-made-me-do-it excuse doesn't excuse anyone either. 
Hold yourself accountable when no one else is doing it for you.

Ticket yourself.
