[GLLUG] Secondary DNS

I have a client who has leased a server from a company in Chicago.
That server is set up to provide primary DNS for the domains on that
server.
With regard to secondary DNS, there are a number of options.
Contracted offsite DNS hosting, our own DNS server at the office,
others I won't mention or haven't thought of.
Two main goals:
Good control over records of all types (including TXT for SPF)
Autonomy with regard to DNS changes (meaning I don't have to contact
our provider to modify his secondary each time we add a domain, which
is currently the case.)
Opinions?
Thanks for any/all
-Bill
