This is not the first or second time Microsoft has hammered an upgrade, they
tend to have a history of it.  I vaguely remember a really bad upgrade a few
years ago when I was stationed in Okinawa that took a whole bunch of
computers down.  In the Linux community I can only remember of one and it
was one Ubuntu did about a year ago with an X-server upgrade. (got hammered
with that one myself)
