Well - My parents donate money to charities every year (like Doctors without Borders, etc) and they wanted my input this year.  It would have to be a true charity organization that could be written off on taxes as a donation.  I thought the linux community could use it.  I know the OLPC is cool but don't think it is in any way considered a charity.

I was just curious mostly.  I should probably give it to the American Cancer Society seeing as I have gone from a pack a month to a pack a day in about 3 weeks ;)
