[GLLUG] Shameless self plug

Hey all,

Maybe some of the founding users of this group will remember me, and
the early days of sitting in the grass next to the Union on campus.
Four years back I moved from the East Lansing area to Washington State
so that I could live in the mountains and snowboard (call it a quarter
life crisis if you will).

Well, I'm still working in technology, still running Linux on my
personal systems, still following this list to some extent, while
getting 100+ days of snowboarding in a year.  I've been in hiding for
the most part, but have decided to come out of the wood work, blogging
on my experiences on mountain living, working in the resort industry,
or as I like to put it "Keeping Kids on Shred":

I wish I could say that my work was all UNIX/Linux related, but alas,
I am primarily a DB/ERP administrator nowadays.  Hopefully this isn't
too off topic because my advocacy for open source software and spirit
are still strong (i.e. we do use Xen for virtualization) and I will
discuss open source/Linux in my blog in addition to making things
freely available.  Maybe some of you will find it a useful tool in
addition to the group/list for engaging one another on this front.
