[GLLUG] Startup Weekend May 14th - 16th

Just wanted to share an upcoming Detroit area event with everyone
taking place two weeks after Penguicon. See

On Friday night anyone can pitch an idea to form a company (usually
web based). People then form teams and work the entire weekend to
launch that company by Sunday night. I am working for such a company
now that was started at the Startup Weekend here in LA and we just got
word that were getting some serious VC funding :). Even if your
company does not make it its an awesome chance to network with like
minded people and scope out the jobs market (there will be head
hunters there) or push whatever services you offer. Anyhow just wanted
to pass it along to the group.

p.s. If anyone knows of a Senior Rails engineer or Front end Guru on
the west cost were looking to hire for both positions. 80-100k
starting salary with stock options/benefits after 6 months.
